WELCOME to Huntington Halibut Hunters my name is Thomas Duncan (Tom is ok). I started fishing several years ago to get some time away from work and I found out it was peaceful, enjoyable , and relaxing. I was enjoying the time off so much that I decided to started a club thinking that everyone should have the benifits of time to relax and have a good hobby.
About The Club
This club is for the serious minded fisherman as well as the beginner and all that are in between. We fish from harbor banks, piers, kayaks , the surf and boats, and although our name has halibut in it we fish for all species. We currently have 10 members which meets on weekends at the fishing spot for that week. We have a barbecue once a month which is free to our members (bring you own beverages) and have door prizes. We Plan fishing trips to Mexico (at a discounted rate). and etc(what ever comes up). We are just a group that enjoys getting together and spending time to get away from the daily routine we all have.
Club Rules
We fish by state regulations on size and quantity. Any body fishing is required to have a valid California fishing license. We fish only for food, any fish which will not be consumed will be released. We obide by all state laws having to do with conduct (just general civil behavior).
Dues
Dues are $10.00 a month these dues go for the cost and up keep of this website. It also covers the cost of food, prizes at or barbecues and the costs of charcoal and paper products. As a member you will recieve a membership card which intitles discounts at various bait and tackle shops. Hoping you will join our club for many fun time with of friends . A Closing Word
I have (personally) a 32 foot fishing boat which I go fishing on quit often and I invite our members to go with me (free, just bring your food, beverages and tackle). Due to space the invitations will be on a rotating basis. Once again thank you.
